Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana can also benefit foreign workers.  However, for this, foreign workers have to meet certain conditions.  According to the information received, the names of the migrant laborers must be in the revenue records as well as these laborers must be adults.  Such overseas laborers whose names are in any farming papers will get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.

After fulfilling the conditions, it is necessary to register in the plan

According to media reports, Union Agriculture Minister Kailash Chaudhary has said that foreign workers will have to register for the scheme after passing the conditions.  Such laborers will be paid by the Central Government.  Migrant workers do not have to wander for registration in the scheme.  Workers can apply to Farmer Corner by visiting PM Kisan’s website.

It may be mentioned that from December 1, 2019, Aadhar card is required for PM Kisan Yojana application.  If an applicant has applied for the scheme without Aadhaar, Rs 6,000 will not be credited to his account.  Experts say the scheme does not work if the PM does not have an Aadhaar number when applying under the Kisan Yojana or if it is entered incorrectly.

The scheme was formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) on February 24, 2019 with a grand ceremony in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.  The scheme was implemented from December 1, 2018.  Beneficiary farmers under PM-Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana are given Rs. 6000 per annum to Rs.  2000 is transferred directly to their bank account
